ROM's MicroCom
module is equipped with four digital outputs allowing
the customer to access and control remote devices from
their customizes web pages. Lights can be turned on,
pumps can be shut down vehicles can be disabled. Future
WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) based "web
to wireless" technology will allow
customers to access and control remote devices with
their wireless phones.

The
MicroCom module was designed with an open architecture
allowing the end users to apply "web
to wireless" technology to many
applications. The MicroCom module can easily be
retrofitted to almost any monitoring, measuring and
sensing equipment. Along with ROM's technical staff, end
users will be able to customize our "web
to wireless" technology to meet even the
most challenging problems at hand.
Availability
Presently
available throughout North America, including most of
Canada and Mexico (with South America in the
works), ROM’s "web
to wireless"
technology is
an alternative to traditional monitoring systems which
are significantly more expensive, as they require
dedicated phone lines for each piece of monitored
equipment along with manned call centres.
